1. What is the procedure for replacing the burnt and stuck up meters?

Register your complaint at concerned CSC.
If the burning of the meter is attributed to the consumer, the Company will replace the burnt meter on payment by the consumer within 7 days.
The payment as mentioned below can be made in cash or by Demand Draft at the consumer service centre / ERO.

  • Single Phase 5-20A - Rs. 650/-
  • Single Phase 5-30A - Rs. 1050/-
  • Three Phase 10-40A - Rs. 1800/-
2. What to do if my meter Seals are cut? Sluggish or running slow?
Register your complaint at Concerned Customer Service Center along with recent electricity bill.
3. What to do if my meter is lost or stolen?

  • The Consumer shall file FIR with the concerned police station immediately and also report regarding the stolen meter to the concerned CSC with in 24 hours of occurrence along with copy of FIR. In all such cases, a designated officer authorized by the Company shall also conduct an inquiry and install new meter.
  • The cost of the new meter and other operators shall be borne by the consumer.
